Nicholas Hafford is the owner of Cap City Canines and is a graduate of the Master Trainer program at National K-9 School for Dog Trainers located in Columbus, OH.  Through this intensive program he gained experience and endorsements in Basic Obedience, Advanced Obedience, Behavior Modification, Personal Protection, Police K-9, Tracking, Scent Detection, Retrieval Training, Utility Training, Assistance Dog Training Theory, and Puppy Development.

 

Nick is also a graduate of The Ohio State University. He has over 10 years of experience working in educational settings and home programs where he worked to design and implement behavior modification plans. The premise of these plans were based in applied behavioral analysis and positive reinforcement.

 

Nicholas uses many of the same principles in his philosophy and approach to dog behavior modification and training.
